Are you considering an undergraduate program at UCCS? We have good news.

During Colorado Free Application Days, Colorado residents can apply with no application fee! From October 20-22, 2026, the application fee for undergraduate programs will be waived to the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.

Common Application

  1. Go to www.uccs.edu/apply.
  2. Select either “First Year Students” or “Transfer Students."
  3. Select “The Common App.”
  4. Within the application, locate the Member Questions section, and you’ll see this required prompt:
    Do you intend to use one of these school-specific fee waivers?
  5. Select Colorado Free Application Day in the dropdown menu.
  6. Submit your application.

Online degrees give you a great deal of flexibility and can save you money on commuting, travel, and room and board. You’ll be able to complete any asynchronous coursework at the best time and place for you, allowing you to balance work, family and personal commitments. You’ll also have the same benefits of connecting with your peers and professors as on-campus students, but your connections will be made through the online learning platform.  

At UCCS, you’ll receive the same education whether you’re in a classroom or watching pre-recorded lectures from home. Some universities hire part-time faculty for online courses, but our online programs are taught by full-time faculty members who also teach on campus. Ultimately, UCCS Online students earn the same degree and receive the same diploma as students on campus.

Your diploma will have no indication that your degree was earned online and will be issued by the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
